It is MASFAA election time, which means we need your vote!

The MASFAA elections are underway and it is important to vote. The choices you make matter, in that we are a 100% volunteer organization. You should vote because our elections matter, they set forth the direction of our association. Your vote helps select leaders for our association. Your vote helps our association grow and meet the needs of members. Your vote shows you care about our association. Your vote connects you with the process of governing our association. Your vote means you matter. Your vote means the candidates matter. Your vote can make a difference, in the past we have had races decided by a single vote, do not let that be your vote.

Your vote in MASFAA may not save the environment, change health care, or put a human on Mars, but it does have an impact on what we set as priorities for our association. Those priorities help train and develop financial aid administrators, who help with outreach to students, who in turn may save the environment, change health care, or be the person we put on Mars. Voting helps safe guard our association and is your duty and responsibility. In a way, voting is your direct way of participating in our organization and is a way you might see your own name on the ballot someday.

  1. Ballots were sent electronically to current members last Wednesday. If you did not receive a ballot and think you should have, please contact elections@masfaaweb.net.
